How to make sure all eyes are on your exhibition stand
Whether you’re exhibiting for half-a-day, one day, two days or more, you want to make sure that your exhibition stand grabs people’s attention.
However, it’s easier said than done, especially if you’re appearing at an event where visitors have rows-upon-rows of stands to wander up and down. They can easily walk past your stand or, even worse, have lost interest before they’ve reached you.
It’s a common scenario for many exhibitors, no matter how innovative or game-changing your product or service might be. But it’s a scenario that can easily be turned around – with a little imagination and the right knowledge and resources behind you.
Just because all exhibitors are given the same floor space and dimensions to work with, doesn’t mean they should all take the same approach to transforming their areas
Thinking outside of the box and being prepared to push the boundaries of what’s possible is a definite must. Taking this approach will not only make sure that your exhibition stand stands out from the crowd, it’ll also help guarantee people won’t overlook you or not bother to seek out your stand from the other side of the hall.
Some brands have really got the knack of making ‘knock ‘em’ dead’ exhibition stands, so much so, that visitors make a point of seeking them out each year, just to see what they’ve managed to do with their stand this time around.

Take this stand we created for JCB, for instance, there’s no way this wasn’t going to make people stop and stare! Not only is it nice and bright, it’s highly unusual (both the use of the vehicle and the angle it’s positioned at) and it’s making full use of the available space.
The same can be said for this two stands, which we also worked on too.
You can choose to make as little, or as much, of your exhibition stand as you like. Obviously, if you want to get the best return on investment from your stand, then taking more of a creative approach to the design will make it more eye-catching and appealing to visitors. Don’t be afraid to incorporate something unusual, after all, it’s these features that tend to get people talking. They also give them more of a reason to remember you by too.
